INGREDIENTS:
2 cups parboiled rice
1 cup urad dal

METHOD:
- Pick, wash and soak dal and rice separately.
- Grind dal without adding water till it is very fine.
- Grind rice, adding little water. Mix well together dal and rice, add salt and leave to ferment overnight.
- When the mixture doubled in size, greeze idli moulds, pour the batter and steam for 8-10 minutes or till they are done. Use as desired for fusion cooking.
